FUN is evolving more and more into a central medium of the felt scene: The calendar of events and workshops need constantly more space and a workshop printed in the magazine has positive effects on the demand for it. The Pom-eranian Coarsewool Sheep expands the still small »Sheep Gallery«.

The FUN raises its image. Starting with this issue the artists' portraits occupy a firm place in the magazine, beginning with the portraits of Mari Nagy and Istvan Vidak. Furthermore a sheep breed and sorts of wool series initiates.

Fuz becomes FUN! After many discussions the old name »verFilzt Und zugeNäht« remains with a new shortcut. In this issue you read about felting with dog wool, European felt art, felting in Switzerland and the Netherlands. We explain what an earthwormhas in common with wool fibres and what is hiding behind the term nuno felt.

The »Fuz« becomes one year old and doubled its volume - 16 pages became 32. The magazine broadens its horizon into the direction of the German neighbouring countries: »Country pages« shall provide a glance to Austria, Switzerland, South Tyrol, the Netherlands and Denmark.

verFilzt Und zugeNäht: Issue 01

»Sheepshit and Forfelt« was one of the proposed names for the still nameless felt magazine. It finally became »VerFilzt und Zugenäht« (with the former abbreviation »Fuz«). The idea behind this magazine that was born after the Felters' Gathering in 2002 was to create a forum for the community, to inform and to net.
